Because some women do not notice this side effect until they reach their advanced age, they may feel extremely uncomfortable and possibly depressed. As much as possible, you should try to avoid taking gaviscon at all costs.
You should also know that many gaviscon manufacturers include additional ingredients in their products. Many contain vitamins, minerals, and herbs. While some of these may be beneficial to your health, there is no scientific evidence to prove that any of these things help to increase the benefits you get from taking gaviscon. Therefore, while they may seem like a good idea, you may want to consider taking advantage of other alternative methods of birth control instead.
