Aspens of Lancaster County! A new “tough guy” from the Amish mob appears on the scene!

With the departure of Jolin Zimmerman as the “enforcer” for alleged Amish mob kingpin Lebanon Levi, we are introduced, in the first episode of season two, to new cast member “Caleb.” Caleb is actually Caleb Isaac Meyer, and according to the show, he is being tested for the role of “enforcer” with a series of minor assignments.

Well here we go again folks! The producers of Amish Mafia ask us once again to believe that an ordinary twenty-something with a handful of misdemeanors on his “credit” is suddenly a tough thug capable of enforcing Lebanon Levi’s will on the people of Lancaster County and your Amish community. What a joke! Meyer’s misdemeanor list actually paints him, at best, as a careless, irresponsible, and rather pushy teenager, rather than a credible member of an “organized crime family.”

Consider Meyer’s most serious offense. It happened in 2007 when she was 18 years old. He was involved in a traffic accident that caused serious injuries to one of the occupants of a horse and buggy while driving a dump truck on Old Philadelphia Pike. The impact was severe enough to kill the horse instantly. Fortunately, the woman who received serious head injuries survived, no thanks to Caleb Meyer.

Meyer was charged with a felony. What was his crime? Wow, our potential new Amish mob “enforcer” fled the scene of the accident and walked away. A tough guy! Finally, the young coward called his dad. The older Meyers arrived at the scene to speak with officers and was eventually able to persuade his son to return to the scene and face the music. According to police investigators, “the teenager was visibly distressed when he returned to the scene.” Yes, there can be no doubt that this is the man who will strike terror into the hearts of the people of Lancaster County. Hide under his beds, everyone! Here comes Caleb from the “Amish Mob”!

Ironically, in episode #1 of the first season of Amish Mafia, Chief Levi is depicted as sending John Schmucker (another supposed “tough guy”, also known for fleeing the scene after causing a car accident) and Jolin to deal with an “English”. who was allegedly involved in an accident with a buggy. The show shows Jolin administering “justice” for this heinous crime by firing a shotgun through the windshield of the man’s vehicle. Apparently being involved in a buggy accident only matters if you’re not looking for a role on the show.
