This is probably one of the reasons why these car owners go to extreme lengths when it comes to customizing and modifying their cars. Car modifications are not complete without installing custom car doors. These car doors can be customized and installed in the shop or you can customize and install them yourself.
To install custom car doors yourself, here are some easy steps:
- Roll down all the windows.
- Remove the screws holding the panel to the car. Screws are usually found in the corners, around the window handle, and in places where something is mounted to the door. You can save the oldest car bolts. Newer cars come with clips that can only be used once. When you buy new screws, don’t forget to bring the old ones for comparison.
- Remove anything that is mounted on the old car panel. Once everything is removed, now it’s time to take the panel out of the old car. When removing the old door, be careful not to damage the mount.
- Once the old car door is out, now it’s time to install the new custom car doors. Before fixing the doors, make sure that it is in the correct position. There should be no bulges anywhere on the door. If you have to force the door into place, the angle may be wrong.
- Be careful when installing custom car doors because they can easily break.
