How much does it cost you for free? How to get real value from a free call

Have you noticed that on any given day you can sign up for anywhere from one to over a dozen FREE calls? Depending on what lists you’re on. I’m on quite a few lists, so I see several FREE calls in my inbox every day.

Is it the call or the FREE that is so compelling?

Just because a call is FREE doesn’t mean it’s worth your time or valuable to you. In reality, it could cost you time, energy, and peace of mind. It can also cost you money you hadn’t planned on spending if you impulsively buy something on the call.

On the other hand it could prosper you. People give away an amazing amount of valuable information, wisdom, and inspiration on FREE calls.

You might hear some great advice, be inspired by a new idea, be encouraged to think about something in a different way, or hear about a new show that’s right for you.

What you won’t get is a magic bullet. If it’s a magic wand you’re looking for, you won’t find it on a FREE call. It is within you.

Yesterday I was talking to a client who told me about all the FREE calls she’s getting this week right after she told me she didn’t have time to work on a project that could be very lucrative for her.

When I asked him what he was looking for in the calls, he said, “I guess I’m looking for a magic wand.

Most people offer FREE calls as a way to introduce a service or product that they will be selling. They will give you the opportunity on the call to buy what they are selling at a special price. Sometimes they also offer an additional bonus for being in the know, being decisive, and taking action quickly.

Decision is an invaluable success and life skill. Quick action often gets you through an open window of opportunity that you otherwise wouldn’t have.

However, buying the product or service out of fear of scarcity or a sense of urgency is not a good reason to buy. Decisions based on fear never are. Make a conscious decision.

Here are 5 tips to get real value out of a FREE call

1. Do not listen to the call mainly because it is FREE. Listen, after reading the description, if you feel inspired or if there is likely to be something valuable for you.

2. Make a decision to learn at least one new thing on the call, or to be motivated by a new idea or inspiration. And expect you to.

3. Implement one thing you learn right away. Use it!

4. Write a thank you email to the presenter and tell them what you liked about the call.

5. Listen to YOU ​​after an offer is made. Make a conscious decision.

I have given some FREE calls and plan to make more. It is part of my Divine Purpose to speak to groups, connect, teach and inspire. And giving feels wonderful.
