Is Insanity Training Right For Me?

Last year I saw a commercial on television for an exercise program known as Insanity. I know watching it on TV late one night seems really cliché, however, that’s how I found out about it. These people were training so intensely. Performing high intensity movements. It all seemed exhausting. Of course I was impressed by the before and after photos. I realized that the results may be atypical, but I was looking for a new exercise routine to lose the unwanted weight. I was lifting weights and doing some slow and steady cardio several times a week, but I wasn’t losing the body weight I wanted. In fact, I gained pounds simply because my eating habits were replete with fried foods, highly processed snacks, desserts, combined with overeating. He’s not very smart, now I know.

There were times when I didn’t feel like working out mainly because I realized it would probably be demanding. Going through the warm-up on its own should make you gasp for air and sweat each and every time. You’re going to be sore at first because your muscles aren’t used to this. You won’t be able to do many reps when you start out. I noticed that the people in the video, who seemed to be in great shape, needed to take breaks during their workouts.
