The last of us, created by the creators of the hit Uncharted series, has been wowing people since its release. The game revolves around the story of Joel(A middle-aged survivor) and ellie(A young teenager) trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world, in which most humans have been infected by a parasitic virus that has blown their heads off. The game offers you 15 hours of juicy gameplay and I think it’s worth $60. The graphics are not compatible with any other game and the characters are adorable. You will fall in love with Ellie at the end of the game. The voice acting has been remarkable.
The setting is beautiful. The urban jungle looks stylish. You have many places to explore. Apart from a lot of zombies, the other thing you will find are green trees. The lighting is very good and is one of the things that makes its graphics better than Uncharted 3. The details in the environment are also remarkable and further enrich the experience. The facial animations are extremely advanced and make you develop affective feelings towards the characters. You are really immersed in the game when you start playing it.
The game is based on survival. You can’t go around killing whoever you want just because you have a gun. Ammo is scarce, so use it wisely. If you are a fan of Call of Duty then this game will be strange to you because you have to think while playing it. You plan strategies on how to kill your enemies, for example, there are different types of infected people and each type requires a different strategy to overcome or kill them.
The last of us it’s a once in a generation experience and I think it’s one of the best games this generation of consoles has given us. By playing The Last of Us, you get to know the limit of the PlayStation 3, as it squeezes out all the power it has left. It’s a masterpiece and not overrated at all! It’s actually a perfect game and deserves a 10/10. All those who say it’s overrated may be people who just can’t use their brains. Being a Naughty Dog game, like all previous games from the developer, it is only available on PlayStation 3.
