Homemade Magnetic Recipe Cards are quick and easy to make. There are 2 ways to “magnetize” your recipes.

• Use your computer printer to print your recipes directly onto a magnetic inkjet sheet. If your prescriptions are already computerized, most of the work is already done. Otherwise, it will be necessary to enter your prescriptions on your PC.
• Attach your existing recipe card (or a copy) to the refrigerator magnet. For this method, I like to use recycled calendar fridge magnets. These recycled fridge magnets are free and typically stronger than inkjet magnet sheets. Using a photocopy allows you to keep the original. With this method you will not need to enter your prescriptions on your PC.

To attach a recipe to a refrigerator style magnet, I like to use double tape. This method is quick and clean when using the proper double-sided tape. Spray adhesives work well too. Most glue becomes brittle over time and since magnets bend, I avoid them.
