3. Storage capacity

All units have the same net storage capacity for the refrigerator: 335 liters. Regarding the net capacity of the freezer, there is a difference between the models that have an ice and water dispenser and those that do not. Those with a dispenser have a net freezing capacity of 187 liters, while those without a dispenser are slightly larger: 206 liters. Keep in mind that even 187 liters is much larger than what you would get with a standard fridge freezer.

4. Colors

There is a choice of 4 different colors between the Hotpoints: stainless steel, white, silver and black. The Hotpoint MSZ 802 is stainless steel, the MSZ 802 is white, the MSZ 803 DF is silver, and the MSZ 806 DF is black.

Apart from the Hotpoint MSZ 801 and 802, all models have an ice and water dispenser. This is a really great feature of American fridge freezers, worth taking advantage of, although you will need to have the plumbing capacity for it.

This is an important consideration for both you and the environment when you are running such a large unit. All Hotpoint combination refrigerators have an ‘A’ rating with an annual energy consumption of 507 kWh.

7. Additional functions

• Holiday environment it can be activated before going on vacation. It keeps the freezer at its normal temperature, but leaves the refrigerator empty at 12 degrees Celsius to save energy.
• Digital screen it is easy to read and gives you an accurate reading of refrigerator and freezer temperatures.
