How to absorb universal energy

The absorption of universal energy to aid manifestation has been the forte of many mystics throughout the centuries. Here, I share a triple technique that has worked for me and some honorable mystics I know.

The tools needed to get the most out of this practice are concentration, imagination, and “willpower.” If you ardently practiced all the exercises assigned in the previous studies, these tools should be ready at hand.

PRACTICE 1 – UNIVERSAL ENERGY ABSORPTION

Section A – With bright pink light

1. Sit upright in a quiet place, where you can enjoy some privacy.

2. Close your eyes and let your hands rest quietly on your thighs.

3. Imagine a bright pink ray of light extending from your heart.

4. Count to 9 beats

5. Imagine this beam gathering into a bright ball of pink light about 3 feet in diameter and hanging 2 feet above your head.

6. Visualize bright rays of pink light penetrating the crown of your head and traveling along your spinal cord to the base or root of your spine. When it gets here, it spreads everywhere, filling every cell in your body with Universal energy. Count 15 beats during this part of the visualization.

7. Next, imagine that the bright pink ball of light grows larger and descends at the same time. It covers your head and shoulders first, and eventually your entire body is engulfed in this bright pink light. You are surrounded by pink Divine energy and can feel its way through your entire body and filling you with Universal energy. You feel strong and renewed in spirit. Count 12 beats in this part of the visualization.

Section B – In bright blue light

1. With your eyes still closed, imagine a beam of bright blue light extending from your throat.

2. Count to 9 beats.

3. Imagine this beam gathering into a bright ball of blue light about 3 feet in diameter and hanging 2 feet above your head.

4. Visualize bright rays of blue light penetrating the crown of your head and traveling along your spinal cord to the base or root of your spine. When it gets here, it spreads everywhere, filling every cell in your body with Universal energy. Count 15 beats during this part of the visualization.

5. Next, imagine the ball of bright blue light that is enlarging and descending at the same time. First it covers your head and shoulders and finally your whole body is enveloped in this brilliant blue light. You are surrounded by blue Divine energy and can feel its way through your entire body and fill you with Universal energy. You feel strong and renewed in spirit. Count 12 beats in this part of the visualization.

Section C – In bright white light

1. With your eyes still closed, this time imagine a beam of bright white light extending from the space between your eyebrows, also known as the “third eye.”

2. Count to 9 beats.

3. Imagine this beam gathering into a bright ball of white light about 3 feet in diameter and hanging 2 feet above your head.

4. Visualize bright rays of white light penetrating the crown of your head and traveling along your spinal cord to the base or root of your spine. When it gets here, it spreads everywhere, filling every cell in your body with Universal energy. Count 15 beats during this part of the visualization.

5. Next, imagine the ball of bright white light enlarging and descending at the same time. First it covers your head and shoulders and finally your whole body is enveloped in this brilliant white light. You are surrounded by white Divine energy, and you can fill it by finding its way into your entire body and filling yourself with Universal energy. You feel strong and renewed in spirit. Count 12 beats in this part of the visualization.

* This marks the end of a cycle. Repeat the cycle three times and Practice 1 is complete.

Transition between practice 1 and practice 2

Breathe in fully and exhale (emptying your lungs). As you do this, imagine the white light surrounding you at the end of Practice 1, gathering again at the top of your head. It is 3 feet in diameter and 2 feet above its head. Now practice 2 begins.

PRACTICE 2

1. Breathe fully for a count of 4 beats. As you do this, imagine the white ball of light shining brightly above your head and in all directions (is not entering your body at this stage).

2. Exhale for 11 beats. As you exhale, imagine the brilliant white rays of the ball of light above you penetrating the crown of your head and filling every cell of your body with Universal energy. This is the end of a round. Note that you do not hold your breath in this practice.

3. Practice 10 rounds of this: white light shining down on you as you inhale (4 beats) and bright white rays entering your body as you exhale (11 beats). This should be the end of Practice 2.

Transition between practice 2 and practice 3

Breathe in fully and exhale (emptying your lungs). As you do this, imagine the ball of bright white light above you growing and descending at the same time. First it covers your head, your shoulders and finally you wrap yourself, when you empty your lungs. Now practice 3 begins.

PRACTICE 3 – ABSORPTION OF UNIVERSAL ENERGY THROUGH RHYTHMIC BREATHING.

1. His eyes are still closed and he is surrounded by bright white light.

2. Breathe in completely, counting 8 beats. During inhalation, imagine that you draw universal energy from the white light around you to fill every cell in your body.

3. Hold your breath for a count of 4 beats. In this interval, imagine the Universal energy in your body (in addition to what has been stored in your cells), being stored as a reserve in your solar plexus. Fix your attention on your solar plexus and use your ‘Willpower’ to direct the reserve energy there for storage.

4. Exhale (emptying your lungs) to a count of 8 beats. As you do this, imagine that any Universal energy that is not needed in your body at that moment is coming out through the soles of your feet and the crown of your head.

5. Count 4 beats in the interval between the end of the exhale and when the next inhalation begins. During this period, think about how energetic you are becoming, full of Universal energy. Also keep your attention on the bright white light that surrounds you, from which you will draw more energy. This is the end of round 1.

6. Repeat up to 10 rounds.

Note: There should be a smooth transition between Practices 1, 2 and 3. The three Practices constitute one session and there is no interruption. If you find your mind wandering elsewhere, calmly switch it to the task at hand. Practices 1, 2 and 3 combined should be practiced at least once a day, ideally first thing in the morning. It won’t take long to see the power of this trio in your workday.

Over the course of the day, if you feel tired, it’s okay to take the 3 practices apart and practice whichever one you are comfortable with in the workplace. You will feel immediately revitalized.
